Akili Z. Davis is a writer, curator, and disability justice advocate based in Philadelphia. She most recently served as Associate Editor of Seen, a biannual journal of arts and visual culture produced by BlackStar Projects, and Accessibility Manager for BlackStar Film Festival. In 2019 she co-curated Souls Grown Deep: Artists of the African American South at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
